delete all board cookies, works only on the computer of the one that clicks it!

Cheers for the info Cisco,

I'm still having people left right and center saying that they log in, then they get the message saying they have been successfully logged in, but then they are logged out again, but their screen names still come up on the registered users online strip at the bottom of the board index, is there a way of scanning the board for errors/bug and fixing them at source, this has happened so suddenly and I really don't know what the cause could possibly be?


I think most of the users with this issue are IE users (if thats any help)

Have any one else on here experienced this issue?

I've just been informed by a user that they have no problem using the 'InPrivate Browsing' feature on IE.....

have they also purged their browsers cache and cookies, and restarted their browsers? if you keep getting problems i suggest they drop Bill Gates a line!

I don't use IE, not really sure how to purge cache and cookies?

So you don't think its an issue with my board?

if you have gone through and gotten the server and cookie settings and you are the only one getting the errors, it must be on their end, I don't use IE so i wouln't know how to clean cache and cookies on their browsers, but if they use that browser, i am pretty sure they should know how to do it. Other than that, don't know what else to tell you to do!

The Delete all board cookies link in the footer should do the trick.

in my forum i include a phpbb gallery v 1.0.5 and when i try to use the gallery then it says some sql error then i thought that my gallery had some problems then i deleted all the files of the gallery and again uploaded new files and then when i login to setup the gallery again then it loop again to the login page and it even happening with my members also from that time. Deleting browser and board cookies doesnt work in any browser. And i first unistalled the galerry and then delete it's files. I am using phpbb 3.0.7pl1 and Septon_Orange theme. Ple help me anybody. your best seeking support from the mod author on this,but check that you have made the database changes,ussually running an installer.

Id suggest uninstalling the gallery completely untill you solved the login problems ,and did you read the faq,s links posted by stoker?

if you are going to seek help for the gallery mod, you should probably open up another topic, this is a totally different thing!
