So you are using hacker tools my friend.
This can only be bypassed with certain "hacker tools", some which are availble as addons for Firefox.

Anyway, thanks for spamming my topic.

i just tried this, but i go to my site and i view the attachment i just posted but the file does not come from the download folder, but from a folder called resources, but i looked at my home directory and there is no such folder as resources listed there!

Edit: nevermind i did some digging around, and they are uploaded to the /files/ directory i just uploaded the .htaccess file there and it works great!
Absolutely NO SUPPORT VIA PM!
The search function works wonders. Ever tried it?
If you remove the copyright for your forum you will get no support and your topic will be locked.

There is a reason for placing the .htaccess file in the download folder, its meant to be there.

if i add it to the download folder i can still link to the images in the attachment, but if i put it in the /files/ directory it works, but the problem is now i can't even see the attachments in my own forum!

Please follow the instructions exactly and post a topic in our testforum where you hotlink to one of your attachments.
The reason it isnt "working" for you is probably because the image is stored in your browsers cache.
